Viver Health Becomes the “Go To” Source of Nutrition and Wellness Advice for People with Stomach Cancer
MORRISTOWN, NJ – In an ongoing Lilly Oncology-sponsored campaign to serve the special wellness and nutrition needs of patients living with gastric and gastroesophageal (GEJ) cancers, Viver Health of Morristown, NJ recently had three of its most recent recipes – specially created for patients with stomach cancer – featured on the Emmy® Award-winning daytime talk show, The Doctors, hosted by Drs. Travis Stork and Andrew Ordon.
The featured recipes are three of twenty seven new and original recipes developed by Viver Health for patients with stomach cancer and made available in a printed Recipe Guide and on a website supported by Lilly Oncology.
Two of the recipes – Pumpkin Pie Bites and Pea Guacamole –were featured in videos created by Viver Health, LLC that were used in a social media campaign by Lilly Oncology and on the website.
The website is a digital version of Your Guide to Wellness with Stomach Cancer, a first-of-its kind print publication and the companion, Your Guide to Wellness: Recipes for Those with Stomach Cancer, both researched and developed by Viver Health with support from Lilly Oncology.
The website is organized into five sections or “steps:” 1) Understanding and Coping with Symptoms, 2) Portions and Protein Sources, 3) The Viver Shopping Guide, 4) A New Approach to Eating, and 5) Creating Balance.
According to Vicki Barghout, Viver’s founder and leader of the company’s research and publishing team, “patients with gastric and GEJ cancers have never before had easy-to-understand, evidence based resources such as these to rely on. Our company is proud to partner with Lilly to make this happen.”
